Kiril was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in the small town of Norwalk. He began dancing at the age of four, and quickly discovered his passion for performing. However, he faced many challenges along the way. He was often the only boy in his dance classes, and he was teased by his classmates for his interest in ballet.
Despite the challenges, Kiril never gave up on his dream. He continued to dance, and he eventually earned a scholarship to the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. After graduating from Juilliard, Kiril made his Broadway debut in the musical "Billy Elliot." He played the title role for two years, and received critical acclaim for his performance.
In "From Iowa to Broadway," Kiril shares his inspiring story with readers of all ages. He shows us that anything is possible if we set our minds to it, and that we should never let anyone tell us that we can't achieve our dreams.
